Danielle is a grateful recovering former addict and alcoholic with a freedom date of 4/13/2016. She is the former director of the Salvation Army’s Skid Row Outreach program where she worked tirelessly to serve the people of that community. In 2023 she completed her master’s in social work at USC and is working towards licensure to expand her scope to clinical therapy. She recently left TSA to work for another agency in Skid Row. In her new role she goes into the shelter programs and provides training to the staff on trauma informed approaches to better serve the participants with the goal of retaining the client all the way to successful permanent housing placement. Danielle has spent the last 8 years plus nurturing and rebuilding her relationships with her Higher Power, family and friends, especially her 24-year-old son Gianni to whom she makes living amends daily. She lives an abundant life full of servitude and tons of laughter and grace. She serves as worship leader at her church and volunteers her time serving food to seniors and unhoused folks in Hollywood. She is a huge Prince lover and fan of music. She spends her free time in the gym, going on daily long peaceful walks, karaoke, concerts, hanging out with family, traveling all over the country to dance with her purple friends and chillin at the house with her cat, Sweetness. Her testimony is one of perseverance, resilience, growth, forgiveness, grace, mercy and gratitude.
