Calling someone “wet brained” is a bit outdated and is actually something else. So what are they really experiencing when alcohol causes them confusion, difficulty walking, and vision problems? It’s called Wernicke’s encephalopathy. It’s a reversible condition caused by vitamin B1 or thiamine deficiency.
