Jimmy Fallon doesn’t have a drinking problem, an NBC exec said Wednesday after he was quizzed about rumors that surfaced last year after the host had a series of accidents.
During a presentation for the Television Critics Assn. winter press tour, Chairman Bob Greenblatt told the assembled media that Fallon was “going to be fine for many years to come.”
“He doesn’t have a drinking problem that any of us know about.
He goes out and has fun and he’s had some accidents,” he said, adding that network execs “are always worried about his safety and health and yeah, there’s been conversations about that, [but] the stories are exaggerated about all of it.”
