Let’s have an honest conversation about alcohol abuse: it happens. In fact, it is easy. Even if you know nothing about anxiety, it is pretty easy to make the connection between having a few drinks and your uncomfortable feelings going away.

That does not mean it is healthy, or that it is a good coping mechanism to use. However, if it is something you experience, you should not be embarrassed about it. It is common and there is help available.
