On Saturday an unidentified American Airlines co-pilot in his 50s was arrested at a Detroit airport terminal for suspected drinking before his scheduled flight to Philadelphia. Detroit Metropolitan Airport police had the man take a breathalyzer test twice and each time the readings were above the legal limit. The Federal Aviation Administration said it is investigating the case further. A spokeswoman for American Airlines said the company considers the case to be a serious issue.
