There is no need for this. A.A. and the other church organisations like to hand yourself over to the higher power and admit you’re an alcoholic and that you are helpless to god.

The people who go around telling everyone look at me I’m an alcoholic never seem to stop. They stop for a few weeks and then that’s it al of a sudden back on the alcohol faster than a bullet.
People donβt want to admit to strangers and have an honest conversation about alcoholism. Also they donβt want to spill their inner most feelings with people they donβt know. You have to be honest about your alcoholism but you don’t have to tell the world.
It;s hard enough realizing that you are an alcoholic and then also knowing you have to put yourself through the shame and embarrassment of going to A.A. and hand yourself to god and see if he can help. Does this get any worse!
You can stop drinking alcohol without religion and also find a support network for yourself in your local era. Whether this be from you local gym or from a specialist alcohol help center. You will normally find information on these from your local council. If you contact the council and ask them what services for alcoholics are you funding a this moment in time. Where are these alcoholic units located etc.
You can stop drinking alcohol and get your life back. Itβs there for the taking. Please do it before someone starts taking advantage of you and sucking you dry of money emotions and health. You will notice if and when you start to go down and out. You will have started drinking in some right shit holes and dives that you would never normally go into. This is where yo will start to mix with all kinds of losers. If you life and alcoholism has got to this point then please seek help fast.
You need to stop drinking and start making choices to stop drinking alcohol for good. It’s good to find someone to have an honest conversation about your alcoholism
