President Barack Obama may not think weed is more dangerous than alcohol, but his possible new attorney general does. Loretta Lynch, the nominee to replace Attorney General Eric Holder, said during her confirmation hearing on Wednesday, “I certainly don’t hold that view,” moving away from the president’s line of thought. Lynch also said she does not support the legalization of marijuana. Lynch said, “I can tell you that not only do I not support the legalization of marijuana, it is not the position of the Department of Justice currently…nor will it be the position should I be confirmed”.
