Blake Shelton has been the subject of tabloid headlines for years, thanks to a high-profile marriage to — and recent divorce from — fellow chart-topper Miranda Lambert. But when In Touch Weekly ran a cover story in late September claiming the newly-single star’s drinking habit was sending him to rehab, Shelton struck back. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, the country music singer filed a defamation lawsuit yesterday morning in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The lawsuit seeks more than $1 million in damages from In Touch’s publishing group, Bauer Publishing Company.
