Many people will kick off Dry January on New Year’s Day.
For some, it’s a healthy start to the year. For others, it’s a chance to cut back on excessive drinking. Millions of Americans deal with alcohol use disorder, but cutting down or quitting altogether isn’t easy.
Now, researchers at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus are leading a trial to find out if weight-loss drugs can curb alcohol cravings.
