Lima, Peru is the largest city the country with over 9 million people in the surrounding metro areas. This has created a problem as there is little rain water for most of the residence, and no proper water treatment infrastructure.
But there is serious humidity, nearing 90% on a daily basis. That gave the University of Engineering and Technology of Peru an idea to promote their school and help the community.
Eventually, they built a billboard promoting the school that also converted the moisture heavy air into safe drinking water for the community to drink for free!
YouTube channel LocoTV Dos actually posted the video in March, but the video has only exploded onto the viralviral video scene now, instantly garnering over 800,000 views in just one day.
