I have witnessed tragedy when alcoholics come to "dry" countries. A few people with an alcohol problem try a flawed strategy. That is they figure they can go live and work in a dry country. Because there is no alcohol they will beat the addiction and make bank in the process.
In my opinion this is a very bad idea. Alcohol, legal or otherwise, can be had for a price. Those folks often find the alcohol or it finds them. The results can be very serious and sometimes fatal.
