Today we look at the alcohol industry, positive impact and negative consequences of high alcohol consumption as a nation.
According to the World Health Organisation, alcohol is responsible for about 3 million premature deaths worldwide.
In South Africa it accounts for approximately 62 000 premature deaths annually, with 60% of those deaths occurring in people in the low, and 15% in the high SES groups.
Does South Africa have an alcohol problem or a discipline problem.
