Their gets to a point in the alcoholics life when itβs finally gets accepted that he or she is an alcoholic. Thereβs nothing the family and friends can do about it. People just try to get on as best they can and even appease the alcoholic; just with the aim to get through another day without any more upset and hassle.

This is not unusual, in fact itβs pretty much a normal and common response from family members and friends. Basically I know where your coming from as a parent or brother or just a friend of an alcoholic and what you may go through every day; firstly youβre sick of having to justify buying his/her alcohol every day and itβs just become the normal thing to do; itβs just easier that way.
There is a certain amount of you have to come to terms with what you are you doing giving alcohol to an alcoholic. These things are quite normal in the circles of alcoholics and family members etc. donβt be upset and angry at yourself at yourself. You just need to start coming up with a plan to start to helping your friend or brother son/daughter etc.
