Deadspin reports Nashville Predators forward Austin Watson has been suspended by the NHL.
Watson is in the league’s substance abuse program for “ongoing issues with alcohol abuse.”
This is Watson’s second suspension this season.
In June of 2018, Watson was arrested for domestic assault after allegedly shoving his girlfriend Jennifer Guardino during an argument at a gas station.
He was sentenced to 3 months of probation and a 26-week batterer’s intervention course.
