A Grand Jury found on Friday that Pennsylvania State University had a “shocking apathy” to alcohol abuse permitted crimes which led to the hazing and death of 19 year old Timothy Piazza. The report urged legislators to tighten laws against underage drinking and hazing. It also noted that Penn State itself, rather than fraternity overseers need to take responsibility for guarding against alcohol abuse.
