Robin Thicke’s deposition for his ongoing lawsuit with Marvin Gaye’s kids—who allege that his hit “Blurred Lines” was a rip-off of their father’s famous “Got to Give It Up”—was extremely candid, to say the least. When Thicke’s song came into question, specifically the similarities with Gaye’s track, he admitted that despite his earlier interviews, he didn’t come up with the song whatsoever and has limited memory of recording it.
