The DARK SIDE as an Artist | Alcohol Addiction | Boy Band Story.
Get ready for a shocking confession! As an artist, I’ve always been known for my creativity and talent, but what people never knew is that I had been hiding a dark secret – an addiction that’s been controlling my life.
In this video, I’m breaking my silence and sharing my story of struggle and triumph. From the highs and lows to the moments of desperation, I’m taking you on a journey of my most personal and intimate struggles. If you’re struggling with addiction or know someone who is, this video is for you.
I share my days coming up as a dancer, from joining a boyband group, to later venturing of as a solo RnB and pop artist; to now being in acting and modeling in Las Vegas Nevada. My roots are deeply entrenched in dance and martial arts as well as many other art forms. At the core of all this chaos, WALKING is what eventually led me to my answers and was the path that helped conquer all my demons. ALCOHOL ADDICTION IS REAL. This all transpired very early on during my childhood with my father being diagnosed with Parkinson’s and then having a toxic narcissistic (biological) mother.
Growing up in a terminally ill parent household. All of these traumatic and life events will shape the rest of your life. Unless there’s an intervention by a mentor, therapist, role model or even a “coach”, you almost never see the chaos coming while it’s right in front of you and as you are going through it. In my case, I was finally able to begin unwinding all of this LATE in life. It’s never truly over “over”. These long walks are a long-term strategy to end those open chapters and unresolved trauma/PTSD.
It all begins with YOUR FIRST STEP toward recovery and breaking “a stigma” or rather, shifting your identity from the inside and out.
WALKING IS THERAPY. This is my story.
