Protests in Ferguson, Missouri continue approaching a three-month mark. The killing of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer in early August sparked demonstrations that have at many times grown tense between protesters and authorities. A report from Amnesty International says police officers should be investigated for human rights abuses. The group says police violated international human rights standards when they used rubber bullets, tear gas and heavy military equipment all while restricting demonstrators’ rights to assemble.
